Yup, I said it. I hate everything about it.
I hate thinking of what to make.
I hate prepping what I’m making.
I hate the work involved in creating the meal.
I hate when someone sits down to eat and doesn’t like the meal.
I hate the clean up and the arguments over who is washing the dishes, washing the table, packing leftovers, loading the dishwasher.
I hate making dinner. I would like to go on strike. You heard it here first.
I hate it toooooooo! I would join you in your strike, but luckily my husband likes it, and with him working from home most of the time now, he’s able to do it most days! Hallelujah! š

Yes!!! I hate everything about it, too. When we decided to sign our kids up for remote learning instead of hybrid learning this year, while also teaching from home, my bald husband agreed to be 100% on kitchen duty. Now when my kids ask what’s for dinner, I just respond with, “I have hair.” I hope to never get kitchen duty back.

SAME š Tonight was takeout chicken fingers because I didn’t defrost the healthier chicken in time. Ugh.

Maybe one day you’ll be rich and you can hire a chef. I’d LOVE that– more than a cleaning person or a personal trainer. If you go on strike, I’ll understand!

If someone would tell me what to make, I would happy shop, prepare, cook, and clean! Yup, I said it. I hate THINKING of what to make.

Then you and I need to move in together! I have TONS of ideas! I actually have a chart that I made a few years ago with ALL the meals I make. (Categorized by type of food!) Yes, it’s that bad!

You should definitely slice that!

I hate cooking just for myself. I make too much. But then thinking back, I couldn’t make everybody happy most of the time anyway.
