SOL #23: Questions and comments and more questions and comments

How do we turn it in?

I don’t see any math pages.

Where is the attachment?

Should we do this on paper?

Should we do this in a Google doc?

Will we have to do this every day?

There are four poems today.

This is a lot of work.

You got this.

I don’t think I can do all of this.

When is this due?

Where is the math puzzle?

Do we have to answer all the questions?

This is a lot work.

Will we get a snow day?

How many pages do we need to read this week.

I don’t know what a haiku is.

**Day one of Distance Learning with 6th graders in Connecticut on a snowy day.**

175 questions and comments from 8:30 AM to 2:30 pm… I’m exhausted.

    1. It really is. I couldn’t keep up first thing this morning. It was crazy. I think it will slow down as we get our ‘sea legs’ under us. We were trying to respond quickly and get to all the questions. Tough stuff!

  1. 175?!? WOW! Um, at least they’re engaged? Up here in Ontario we haven’t really started the online learning thing yet… I suspect it’s going to be quite a steep learning curve. May have to come back to this post to remind myself that I am not alone. 175! Wow.

  2. This is so lovely to me. You remind me of the great beauty in poetry. It’s restrictions are apparent in the conciseness of its text; but, how wonderful it is to see its boundaryless possibilities. I absolutely enjoyed this – especially the end. Job well done! ~Carla Michelle
